The design of the Traveler spinning wheel remains in the style of a beautiful "castle" spinning wheel, although its functionality has undergone certain changes. The new version lacks the ability to select double-drive spinning, which was especially appreciated by beginners, on the other hand the flexible belt drive has simplified preparation for spinning and gear changes are now a breeze. There is no need to adjust anything except the correct brake pull. Also, working with the sliding eyes is more convenient and modern than moving the yarn on the flyer hooks. The standard version of the spinning wheel already includes large-capacity 90 mm bobbins, and the built-in lazy kate also allows the use of Jumbo bobbins, if you decide to purchase a Jumbo flyer (BJFU - classic flyer with hooks or SHFJ with sliding eyes). A heavier drive wheel has more inertia, making it easier to pedal and turn smoothly. There are also minor improvements, such as a comfortably stored and longer hook. The gear ratios are 5, 7, 9 and 14:1, the weight remains 7.5 kg.
